Born in redbrick / graystone milltown Willimantic , CT on a Monday in June many moons ago ...Like lots of other young boys of my generation I took up the drums soon after seeing The Beatles and Ringo on Ed Sullivan ...Mostly self-taught but did take lessons for a couple of years as a kid , and played in the high school band/orchestra ...In a wide variety of rock bands ever since in CT ; NY and Japan ...Left America for Sushiland Japan in 1985 and lived in Tokyo for 10 years . Drummed with " gaijin " band Hotel No-Tell the whole time I was there . We even managed an " indies " EP/CD entitled " Ore Wa Gaijin " ( I'm An Outsider " ) . Played clubs ; live houses ; embassy parties ; hip weddings ...Now living in the Kumamoto hinterland of Japan . Not in a band currently , but am fortunate to have my own semi-soundproofed drum " house / studio " right next to the main house so I can play/ practice anytime I want . Myspace friends always welcome to drop in for a jam ! ; )
