Pyratek is a Tokyo-based music creator. His first album "half
asleep" was released on Belgian label U-COVER in 2006.
Pyratek provided some tracks for the British feature documentary
film "RFK Must Die" in 2007.
The inspiration behind Pyratek's music comes from various
perspectives - jazz, progressive rock,hip hop, contemporary music and
electronica. He chooses samples carefully from massive record
collections, skilfully blending them with electronic noises to
create his distinctive sound.
At times, the sound goes deep, at times, a tune plays lightly. His
music rolls out like you are flipping a page of a novel politely,
then notice yourself getting sucked into his musical world and
listening intently.
