About Me


Yabugarashi a.k.a. Koutaro Ooyama is a multi-talented artist who covers his career as painter, guitarist, producer and DJ from West side of Japan - Osaka (Known as second big city in Japan and enthusiastic underground scenes). He is also known as MON, one half of Doppel who's one of the leading Japanese painting duo collaborated with numbers of magazines to big cooperations such as Nike, Sony, Nissan as well as conscious activities. He's also a part of the band called Echo Mountain as a guitarist and released from western Japan's top dub label SF-Recordings. in 2009, he set up a label "vvv"(pronounced vi-vi-vi) as his own output for his musical and painting expression. Released 12inch "Rainbow Stitch" on Feb 2009 in Japan and sold out 400 copies.
