Born in 1978, in Gifu, Japan. He started to play the double bass under the influence of his father who was a trumpet player. He experienced the jazz big band in his undergraduate. Also, he played in a lot of group like modern tango, chanson, or gospel music.
Silver Prize at the 19th Asakusa Jazz Contest in Tokyo, Japan in 1999.
He had a performance in Berlin, Germany as a member of the trio with Koto and Shakuhachi, which are the traditional japanese instruments.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he played with Gary Burton, Makoto Ozone, and Terri Lynn Callington at Berklee Performance Center.
Played with Michael Brecker, Charlie Haden, and Kenny Barron at Carnegie Hall in NY, as a member of the Berlklee Strings Orchestra.
