Calderon

Calderon is the V-DJ live act by Sharon Gideon of SGK Studio. This longtime Tokyo resident from Tel Aviv, Israel, is the world’s first psychedelic trance V-DJ. He has been in the trance scene for more than 11 years and began shooting video more than six years ago for all major events in Japan including Mother Records, Fineplay Music, Vision Quest, Sirius Records, TPE Records, Solstice Music, Arcadia and the Fuji Rock Festival. Sharon’s video clips are world-renown and have been released on DVDs from Vision Quest, Fineplay and TPE Records. The Calderon V-DJ live show debuted in April 2007 at Tokyo’s venerable Cube326, with Sharon demonstrating the first-ever live mix of MTV-quality psy-trance music clips as a DJ. The following month, Calderon took the live show outdoors, playing before more than 2,000 at Fineplay Music’s “Global Exposition” festival. This summer will see the action-packed Calderon V-DJ show at TPE’s “Open-Air Summer Festival 2007” in Nagano Prefecture, and probably more.
