To my fans and all of my friends in LONDON!!!
I haven’t seen you for a long time because I’ve been living in Tokyo.
I loved living in London and it’s been a long time since I was there, but I hope to come back some time in the near future.
Even though I miss London, Tokyo is an exciting place and any of my British friends are welcome to come visit anytime!!
I hope you all are doing well and I look forward to hearing from you in the future!!
Cheers,
ã‚ãš :)
ã‚ãš (Call me Azu or As)
I was born in Saitama, Japan on February 7th and lived there until I finished high school. My family moved to Shibuya shortly after I graduated, and I’ve been living there ever since.
After I graduated high school, I worked for a graphic design studio and was happy to work on an art project aimed at promoting communications between different cultures. The name of the project was “Merry Projectâ€.
It was a wonderful experience, and I was very happy to be a part of something that allowed people from different cultures and backgrounds to come together.
When I joined that project in 2003 I became interested in photography and sketching, and I have been lucky to have some of my pictures and drawings published in several magazines.
My drawings were well received in those publications, and I was happy to find out that many of the readers enjoyed them.
At the end of 2005, the book “Merry Expo - The Book of Global Exchangeâ€, was published by the Merry Project which I was an editor of.
The book was a success and I felt it was time for a new challenge, so I decided to pack my bags and headed off to London. I’m not sure why I originally went there, but in hindsight, I’m happy I did it.
While I was living in London I met another Japanese girl named Saki.
We worked together and became very close friends while we were living there.
We discovered that we had a mutual interest in the same music and soon after decided to do some performances all throughout London. We danced and sang anywhere we could, and at times we attracted some big crowds. We eventually acquired some fans who loyally came to watch us almost daily. It was a really fun experience and we were able to meet many interesting people. If you’re British and you happened to catch one of our shows, or you are one of our fans, we hope you enjoyed it!
I’m currently making my own music and I hope to have some songs posted sometime in the near future. Keep your eyes open and check it out if you get a chance. I love to make art and I hope that you are able to enjoy my work in the future!
Until then,
PEACE from PEACE!!!!
