Toshio Ueki is a Tech-Dance DJ, producer and music reviewer who has been part of the Japanese dance scene for over a decade. In 2003 he joined the renowned HARDTRANCE HEAVEN party as a resident dj, and in Feburary 2004 Toshio became a resident dj at the world famous Yoji Biomehanika's GIGA. In his dj career, he has played with some of the world's best djs, including Ferry Corsten, Scot Project, Johan Gielen, Fred Baker and Sterling Moss, among others. He has been rising through the ranks by rocking the city's top shindigs at venues such as Ageha and Velfarre. He also organizes his own event called VINYLIZE which brings the newest Tech Dance / Hard Dance sounds to the city.
Toshio featured in the top 50 in Japan's most popular dance music magazine, LOUD's DJ TOP 50/50 for five consecutive years. In between djing gigs and late night studio sessions, he keeps himself busy editing texts for various magazines and album reviews.
Toshio's latest production, R-BAR, was picked up by Vinylize Trax and will be included in its forth coming release, TECH DANCE EP.
