there is no complexity here. m.c chika is just an on-going life-long existential way of self-expression, merely pursuing my own amusement in life. i try to filter the daily findings in life through sounds and turn them into music.primarily a guitar player, m.c chika uses whatever means it takes to record his music but as an instrumentalist, loves playing his old yamaha electric, guitalele (sort of a cross between ukulele and mini-guitar), fretless baritone guitar and danpu (vietnamese bass?).last but not least, if you know a guitar player named steve creps, supposedly a philladelphia-native, kindly do drop me a line. steve is a good friend of mine whom i’ve lost contact after he left musicians institute in hollywood, CA in 2001.steve man, where are on the earth are you?
