Pastel Sugarplum

Pastel Sugarplum was formed in 1997 at Tokyo Japan,by Matsuo Hirobumi,Fujii Masahide and Yoshimura Isao.
at first,their name was "The Pastels Badge". but soon rename to "Pastel Sugarplum".
in 1997, 0st Demo tape "Strange Girl / Hello! / Camera Camera Camera" free release.
in 1998, 1st demo tape "Glasshopper E.P." release.about 200 copies sold out.
in 1999, song "Strange Girl" was collected to "Smile DEMO" Sunshinepop / Smile Records Compilation CD.
Live at Shibuya Club Quatro.
in 2000, release 6track mini album "Pastel Sugarplum" from Sunshinepop / Smile Records.
but soon, Sunshinepop / Smile Records broke up...
in 2001, Yoshimura Isao split from the band.
so They are sleeping now.
sometimes, Matsuo, Fujii and Yoshimura do sesions in studio.
after They stop 2001,
Matsuo Hirobumi is change his stage name and now He is "Prince" of "Neo-Shibuya-kei" with his new band.
Fujii Masahide joined legendaly Japanese noise prog band called "YBO2" in 2001, and He played guitar on YBO2 untill YBO2 stop. Now He is solo singer and has many many improvisation sessions.
Yoshimura Isao is sometimes play drums.
