ｍjuk: Post rock, Electronica, Jazz, Experimental.
-Nov. 2006, maw (the former mjuk) had been started by h (E&A.Guitar / Programming / and more... art work & web design / Engineer), Kei Ikehara (Bass / E.Upright Bass ), Tomoyuki Matsuba (Drums).
-Feb. 2007, Yuka Furuyama (Vocal) and Mayu Nakajima (Synthesizer, A&E.Piano) had joined.
-May 2007, first show at “TaU KITCHEN”, shibuya.
-Jun 2007, Tomoyuki (Drums) had left the band because he’d like to play different kind of music. However at the same timing, Chihiro Maruyama (Flute) and Yuuki Takahashi (Alt Sax) who brought the taste of mjuk sounds to the band had joined.
-Aug. 2007, including Haruyoshi (Drum support) maw recorded first demo, prologue, and had second show.
-Sep. 2007 Emi Yonekubo (Drums) had joined the band and we changed our name maw to mjuk.
-Mar. 2008, Emi Yonekubo (Drums) had left the band because he’d like to play different kind of music.
-Apr. 2008, Chihiro Maruyama (Flute)&Mayu Nakajima (Synthesizer) had left the band because he’d like to play different kind of music.
-Aug. 2008, including Toshiyasu Imamura (Drum support) mjuk recorded second demo, conflict between of new and old ideas,.
-Sept. 2008, Kei Ikehara (Bass / E.Upright Bass) had left the band because he’d like to play different kind of music.
-Nov. 2008, Yuka Furuyama (Vocal) had left the band because he’d like to play different kind of music.
-Jan. 2009 Toro.Nakada (Trombone) had joined the band
-Apr 2009
mjuk plus art equal workS in 2009 "orpiano is a piece of sonic art desired for every complete artists."
sonic artist : manabu simada from UK we have been starting creating a piece of art since 19th Apr in 2009, at the present time we have been on the way who knows we will achieve.
-Now you can check our music out at some venues around Tokyo.
