Real people....no fakes....smart, intelligent women who make a difference (not excluding men...) MUSIC.....I am very passionate about it....All types of music hold meaning in my life......COFFEE is a priority, and it must be good coffee...not that 7-11 s&%t made from grounds leftover from the 70's.... Good Red wine....nectar of the gods..a nice Italian red or a Dornfelder from the Saar-Mosel region...yummy!!!! Political issues. STOP THE IGNORANCE....I read The Progressive as well as many other "liberal and Moderate" weekly publications when I can find them over here....damn censorship! I am a huge supporter of women's rights issues. I am a Yankees fan....it all started when I saw Bucky Dent in his uniform...I have stuck with the same teams my whole life....always the same...tried and true...Hockey kicks ass.... (Montreal!) Also European Football (which both of my children play)....Rock on!!!! I consider myself to be quite a unique person....I am very go with the flow and very open minded.......spending QUALITY TIME with my family either going to the movies, going to the gym or just hanging out......FAMILY FIRST!!!!!!

there are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many different groups for me to even begin listing....if you know me, you know i am very eclectic......i range from classic rock (led zep) to trip-hop to metal to grunge to all the flavors except for country really......(maybe with the exception of johnny cash, hank williams, patsy cline)....anyhow.....i own over 1000 cds...and yes, i do still have vinyl...nothing compares to hearing vinyl....especially billie holliday....oh yeah....-----------------------------------------------

let me just begin by saying that I have a shitload of movies.....So many different ones....RESERVOIR DOGS....In The Name Of The Father, The Full Monty, Billy Elliot...Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.....Drop Dead Fred....ALL Tim Burton films.....Esp. Nightmare Before Christmas....I still have my movie ticket (dork that I am) Heat, the Saint, 10 Things I hate about you, Platoon, Taps, Lords of Discipline, Stripes (lots of Military movies in this house....hazard of the life), All of Kevin Smith's movies, anything Mel Brooks....Blow, Johnny Depp ROCKS!!!! Chocolat, so many movies...the movie stylings of the Coen Bros. way too many to possibly list...Independent films are superb.....but not all.....I so did not like Napolean Dynamite....But I am pretty open minded..to an extent....My movie collection consists of about 500+ movies....I have a passion for movies as well as my music......Ahhhhh...also the great movies of the 80's......Real Genius....Better off Dead (just about anything John Cusack) Top Secret....some really cheesy stuff....but all the more good.....Absolutely priceless.......the 80's are so irreplaceable........--------------------------------

do have some tv shows on dvd ..Boston Legal (thanks meghan for the new addiction)..PRISON BREAK!!!! Heroes, Criminal Minds...King of Queens..Numbers...Alias and Las Vegas I like a lot....Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, House, BTVS, Charmed, CSI (original) Law and Order: SVU, NCIS, Will and Grace, Frasier..Lots of shows that aren't around anymore...but nonetheless are still good....no real tv though in 4 years...it doesn't bother the kids at all..Ryan and Nicole are WAY too busy playing sports and going out to be vegetables in front of the t.v..same with us....weird...love Lost....most reality tv though is CRAP......huge waste of time and energy.
Books:
I have a thirst and a desire for knowledge...when I find a topic I want to learn about, I go balls to the wall....I love reading...when I have the time..Frank Rich is a writing god....I love Davinci Code, Angels and Demons...anything Dan Brown...... Most of my reading other than school is done in the summer.....Pope Joan......AWESOME!!!!! J.K. Rowling.....yes, my Son and I have read all of them......they are great......I really try to keep up with political books, but it is tough with school and home......I am currently reading "The world is flat, a brief history of the 21st century"....fantastic!!!! .....Thomas Friedman, Paul Krugman.....political/economics type stuff.......NO FANTASY CRAPOLA!!!!!!(sorry)
