isao osada

isao osada was born in Kanagawa in '65. He started playing the trumpet in '76 in consequence of his brother. He started playing with many bands (jazz,jazz funk,crossover) in '78 and appearing jazz clubs in Tokyo. He became a leader and a arranger of a back-up band and joined their tours. He stayed in U.S.in '85. He made up the band using keyboard and sequencer to spread out the possibility of his music and chase up experimental style. Around this time He stopped playing jazz music he adored,and explore many kind of music such as World Music,Ethnic, Ambient ,Traditional ,Rock. He played at popular clubs like Yellow,at the same time collaborated with famous artists in home and abroad. One of his bands O.M.U. released first album "COOL BEAUTY" in '93 from Columbia Records in Japan which was also released from Europe to all over the world and added excitement. O.M.U. released an album "O.M.U" from 99 Records in Germany for 14 different countries in Europe in '95 and they appeared in international jazz festival in Switzerland. He was also a support member of Japanese famous pop band,Mr. Children and the organizer of the event "VORTECHS" in Tokyo. He joined many recordings as a solo player,producer,rimixer utilizing hiss unique capacity and experiences. Since 2002 He's been playing in Motion Blue Yokohama in Yokohama Akarenga Soko heading up his band "Isao Osada Club Jazz Session"on a regular basis,also organizing "afrontier in Motion Blue Yokohama + Bar TUNE"　fitting in the elements like DJ.VJ.LIVE. In 2005 he played in London and Nice in 2005,and made his new nu- electric jazz unit called Akatsuki.He always chases up new sound and never stop playing !
