Kojiro (Wakyo)
Based in Tokyo, Kojiro is a highly active contributor to some of Japan’s most well established and cutting edge organisations in the electronic music scene. Label DJ for Wakyo Records (Wakyo Distribution), as well as their events manager. part of organization in Nagisa Music Festival. Kojiro has been involved in astounding festivals such as Labyrinth, Chikkyuya, Solstice, Space Gathering, Mother, Utage and many others.
As a DJ, his sets combine Electro, Techno, Minimal, Psy Progressive, Dubstep, and Breaks. Bringing a slick, groovy psychedelic journey to the dance floor. Having toured the world and having paid attention to what is happening where, Kojiro sound has developed into something that a lot of people can really dig their teeth into, Australia being no exception.
He has another set called Nogejiro, collaborating with Nogera who is a drummer from Shpongle. Nogera’s intense live percussion makes his set even more funky and extremely energized.
