THE PERFORMER: The work of Ami Goodheart has spanned over 15 years , five continents and has been enjoyed by international audiences. Her work as performer, choreographer costume designer, and actress has made her the "Reigning Queen of New York's Cabaret Night Life," according to the New york Times. She has danced her way into the hearts of fashion legends such as Jean Paul Gautier,Elie Saab, Patricia Fields, Marc Jacobs, Jeremy Scott and Zac Posen, as well as fashion houses including Lane Bryant and Victoria's Secret with her unmatched floor shows. Ms. Goodheart's elaborate costumes and timeless glamour have been a favorite to photographers David LaChapelle, Deborah Turbeville and Ellen Von Unwerth, to name a few. Her fresh elegance gained her a spot in "Yves St. Laurent's 40 Years of Creation" alongside Paloma Picasso, Twiggy, and Catherine Deneuve. She's also made several TV/Movie appearances, including ''ZOO'' alongside David Caradine and Deborah Harry, ''Center Stage,'' Requiem for a dream,'' and "In the Cut." As of this year Ami is a two- time guest performer on ''Late Night with David Letterman.'' As quoted by Jean Claude Baker himself, Ami Goodheart has undoubtedly earned the title.. THE PRODUCER: As of now, new projects are leading the way futher behind the scenes as Ami's new company SOTU PRODUCTIONS has taken off and started running. Her work as director/choreographer/costume designer has her creating productions for Marc Jacobs, and she has been producing other parties and events for over five years now. Other clients that have hired Ami to create shows for include Richard Branson of Virgin, Piaget, Mecedes Benz, Moet Chandon,Versace among a few. Ms. Goodheart spent the entire summer of 2006 in Beruit, Lebanon, directing for a reality television show called "MissionFashion," which aired in eight different arabic speaking countries. She claimed a position on the show's fashion jury choosing which models and designers stay or go, as well as created breath taking spectacle floorshows for each live two-hour weekly show. Elie Saab is one of her biggest fans!!! SOTUProductions is currently the only haute couture entertainment company creating specifically customized,tailored shows for each client.
