I'm an illustrator living in Tokyo. I use Sumi the Chinese Black ink, and Japanese colored ink.
I create everything I can do with using Sumi, from illustrations, to interior and fashion designings. My characters, people love my laid-back way:D...I draw not only human characters, but also animals, plants, and monsters, like Dragon and Big Tiger.
some of my characters was animated and broadcasted on TV shows and commercials.
Also, I worked with Kitaro for his world tour "Kojiki" . You can see my work on his record.
In the interior designing, I have done paintings for hotels, restaurants, even Expo Pavilions, such as Asia-Pacific Expo. Such as wall paintings, drawing on bigger canvas is my favorite works.
In the fashion field, I've worked with Kimono maker. Kimono maker printed the characters and symbols on the traditional Japanese silks.
I usually have one or two exhibitions in a year. In the past, both private and group exhibitions were held in Tokyo and other major cities in Japan. Overseas, such place as New York City, and Copenhagen.
Most of the exhibitions, I usually do live paintings. For example, I paint in Japanese lamp with a paper shade or paint on 2x2m high Japanese paper.
