Hello. I am Nikki. I am 16 years old and a junior at Franklin High School. I am representing Franklin by winning the pageant on July 4th, 2009 and being given the title of "Miss Franklin 2009". I've had a blast with it so far. I love reading books, hanging out with friends and family, texting, singing, camping, fishing, and playing sports in my spare time. I have a boyfriend. His name is Jacob Lee Knight. We have been dating for a year and two months now. I love him so much and he is my everything! ♥5-15-08♥ I am religious and i am trying to get back to the stage i used to be. (Iv'e lost some of my faith.) I am sponsoring two children from Africa. Their names are Muhammed and Karani. I love them very much. I enjoy writing to them and hearing about them. I try to tell the truth but sometime's it is hard. Right now, I am just learning more about myself. I adore animals, babies, and my cousins Sydney and Jake. My favorite subjects are science, and english. I will be attending Capital Area Career Center(CACC) this year for radio/tv and hopefully be getting a job at WJVO. My uncle Todd is a DJ there. I would also like to study meteorology. I love thunderstorms and the weather. I love doing the simple things in life, such as, sitting on a roof watching the stars, reading a book by a creek, looking at cloud shapes all day, and just doing nothing. (That is when your creativity comes to mind the most because you have more time to concentrate and think about anything.) I thinking sneaking out isn't bad, if you do it the right way. Vandalism is bad. I'm not saying I haven't had my moments or I would be a hypocrite. Some of the best times in your life could happen by breaking the rules. I like to take risks such as jumping into ponds and lakes, and I usually pick dare in truth or dare. But I will only do something that I want to do. No one is going to make me do anything. I do not drink or smoke, but I do have friends and family members that do. I try my best not to judge people. I think people that do are just ridiculously stupid, but sometimes it does happen and I don't mean to. I'm really friendly and enjoy making new friends. I send out random friend requests and I hate it when other people say that they as well, enjoy meeting new people and then freak out at a random friend request because they don't know who it is. I think that's being a hypocrite. I stick to my word. I'm a pretty loyal person. I'm a country girl and a rocker. I'm a little bit of everything. I'm not just one big thing, i'm just me. So you can't label me. There is no label for being yourself. I do not take one letter out of a word in texting. I think thats stupid. (For example, srry). It's like "why can't you type one more letter"?. I hate it when everyone does the same thing. It really ticks me off. I think if you really honestly try with everything you have at something, you can achieve it. But a part of me also says you can't in a corrupt world like this. I think the reason people don't really try in school is because they don't want to. Teachers need to understand that we are getting homework in other classes too, plus all the stress from everywhere else, and sports. I believe if a person does something on his/her own, it will get done alot better than if they were being forced to do it. Things do take time and people do work at their own pace, so, I don't really believe in deadlines. But I guess you have to live with things you don't want to in the world and it isn't fair. But it also shouldn't be to the point where it is so ridiculous and no one does anything. I think people should start fighting for what they believe in. That's kinda the point of life. I don't think that education is what life is all about, but that is the only way people can live these days. I know that love is the answer. I cannot stand it when others make fun of the mentally retarded. Some people do just not have a heart. It's something I will never understand..
