mimie

mimie(vocals for wild smash, former leader of 3+3) has been performing in musicals, tv, and many shows since the age of 12 in the US. At age 14, mimie joined the International Children Choir, a professional singing choir that toured internationally(Russia, USA, and Europe) promoting world peace through out the world. After high school mimie is accepted to Berklee College of Music where she majored in Bachelor of Music degree. From 1996 mimie moved to Japan to pursue her career as an artist. In good fortune, she was accepted by a well known producer who produced artist such as Wada Akiko and started her career as a studio musician. As a studio musician, mimie has worked for many record companies (Warner, Sony, Universal, King, Victor, and etcs). As the first japanese vocal trainer to be acknowledged by Seth Riggs. She has also gained respect as a popular vocal trainer for the Japanese celebrities. Such students includes J, Hotei Tomoyasu, Amuro Namie, Takeda Shinji, and many others.In recent years mimie is called upon directing vocals in the studios, teaching and giving seminars to different colleges. Her multi talent also went furthur to lyricist working for J, Acid Android, Blaze, Baby M, Cherryfilter, Kinki Kids, Shonentai,Miz and etcs.Then in January2005 a rock band called ３＋３（THREE PLUS THREE） which was mimie's former artist name was formed. 3+3 have been performing all through out Tokyo, Japan. By 2006 3+3 debut mini album was released from Spyral Records, USA available by iTunes. mimie's song was also selected for Taiwan's government CM in 2006. Also Yotsuya's House of Rock live house has named her the "Queen of Rock" Now in 2007, mimie joins Wild Smash a techno unit group lead by S.T.S. to further her talent as an artist. She is also working on a theme song for the taiwan independent movie due to be released TBA. Mimie is also writing songs and lyrics for Japanese tv series for the upcoming fall 2007.
