幼い頃よりBlack musicと触れ合う日々を過ごす。
高校卒業後、単身上京。「菊地彰」として音 楽活動を始める。
都内ライブハウスを拠点に精力的に活動し、
2005年渋谷PLUGで行われた初ワンマンライブで㠁¯ç››æ³ã‚’収める。
その反面、他アーティストへの詩の提供をこ の頃より始める。
また様々なアーティストのバックコーラス・ PVでのバックダンサー等、
多岐に渡る活動を経て07å¹´ç¾åœ¨ã€æœ¬æ ¼çš„ã«ä½œè ©žå®¶ã¨ã—てのデビューを控える。
「彼の表現方法はとても独特で、そしてとて も暖かい」
とあるジャーナリストはこう言う。
一つ一つ丁寧に言葉を汲み取るような繊細な 言葉使い
あたたかく情景を映し出す描写の数々　
その指先は時に鼓動を生み出す力を持つ。
今、最も注目を集める作詞家の一人である。
そして特筆すべきはその歌声にある。
まるで女性かと思わせるような優しく透き通 る甘い声。
そして時に感情をむき出しにしたような荒々 しくもある表情。
この二つのギャップが魅力のアーティスト。
