MATSUO Takeshi composed in distress alone in the Japanese southern part, a town called Fukuoka.
On strange occasions he joined the Beatles tribute band as Ringo Starr in 2002.
Then he meets NAKAO Atsushi who was in charge George Harrison's part.
They played together in some bands and formed JOEY ZASA in 2005.
At first, they were four piece band includeing bassist. But a bassist withdrew.
In the last resort they played in mysterious baseless style which base sound coming from somewhere.
Now MATSUO and NAKAO have been energetic activities with support members.
1st mini album "A" was released in 2006.
In addition to tour around the country, they appeared for Busan International Rock festival in 2007.
JOEY ZASA is expanding the range of activities smoothly.
