Afteria is the creative art group formed at England, between Genki and Jima. They were studying mathematics and philosophy respectively at England, while crafting strange electronic music in the spare room of their shared dorm. Then, they formed the band Afteria.
It was around the time when a lot of bands were starting to combine traditional songwriting with electronic sounds in the spirit of Broadcast and The Beta Band.
In 2008, they contracted with Japanese Epoch-making label "2E2L Recordings".
And 2009, with System Recordings which is in NewYork SOHO.
Their fresh and energetic sound is the natural next step in the evolution of dance music - fusing elements of house, electro, breaks and drum and bass with an eclectic soundclash of popular culture references, rock, disco, 80s pop, classical and jazz to create something at once original and resolutely accessible.
Between the busy song writing schedule, they are managing to fit in DJ dates at the club in Tokyo.

ジャンルレスなレコードコレクターとしても 有名でその数は数万枚に及ぶ。 彼らのエネルギッシュで繊細なサウンドから はHouse, Electronica, Drum and Bass, Rock, Disco, 80s Pop, Classical, Jazzなど様々な音楽の影響を感じ取ることがだ§ãã‚‹ã€‚
多忙な作曲スケジュールの中、北米、ヨーロ ッパ、日本でのライブ活動を計画中。
