Allon Beausoeil, popularly known as allon, was born deaf and with teeth.
Hailing from Portland, Oregon, his musical career was set in motion at the age of 10 when he heard Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" album during a family trip.
After starting and joining bands, most often as a guitarist and singer, allon decided to go solo.Since then he has shared the stage with such artists as Beck, Rikie Lee Jones, The Dandy Warhols, The Sneaker Pimps, DJ Spooky, Olivia Tremor Control, Kenji Jammer, Stereo Total, John Fahey and Natural Calamity, to name a few.
His sweet voice, semi-sarcastic lyrics, combination of electronics with traditional instruments such as the sitar and intimate understanding of the production process creates music that is thoroughly modern, yet underpinned by a sense of nostalgia that never fails to stir emotions.

Besides playing live and recording his own music, allon has composed music for TV shows, movies and video games and has produced and recorded bands in both New York and Tokyo.
Currently based in Tokyo, allon continues to play live, produce, compose, record and persist in his journey of sonic discovery.
