With a drive to reach the top that is rarely seen, ESSENCIAL's rhymes always come true, covering a variety of contemporary issues. Touching on emotions and topics that today's young adults can relate with, ESSENCIAL's music is touted as a form of modern blues that is constantly evolving. Coupled with electrifying stage performances that leave you yearning for more, ESSENCIAL is definitely a hot topic. Since they first emerged into the game, ESSENCIAL has continued to make guest appearances on numerous mix CDs promoting their work, while July of 2006 saw the long-awaited release of their mix CD, "BACKYARD RADIO pt. 1." Within a month, all 500 copies of the CD were sold out! In November of the same year, they went on to release "BACKYARD RADIO pt. 2," which to no surprise, was also soon sold out! ESSENCIAL then took the spotlight on DELI's (The boss of TEAM 44BLOX) 2006-2007 "Still Burnin' Japan Tour," where they carved their name into the map with burning ambition. Now, with their own club event, "ESSENCIAL presents: BACKYARD NIGHT," taking place once every two months, ESSENCIAL's popularity and reputation are steadily on the rise. Presently, the "HOT029 vol.1" mix CD, with SMITH-CN as host, is fresh on the streets, with plans for vol.2 already in the works. Also, coming soon is SMITH-CN's collaboration with SCARS' track maker, SAC, entitled "Endless Trip." Finally, in an effort to bring you their official album, slated for release next year, ESSENCIAL is still on the grind!
