Based in Sapporo, Japan.
When the producer/trackmaker of Scam Circle, KOJI MIZUNO makes his unique works,
he picks up the pieces of music scattered in his head and captures any bits of expression emerging from his deep internal world - and then his music starts to make its shape with very obscure melody and sound images, and the basis of dance music.The tracks MIZUNO makes has a peculier floating feelings - and at the live performance the band has sccueeded to establish their own style as a "live band" to prove that their music is not just for listening in the room, by adding the expression of HORI's drumming that gives a eccentric groove to the tunes, which came from HORI's varid musical background of rock, hip hop, funk, jazz etc, and by mixing HASHIBA's base sound - mainly comes from his various rock bands' experiences, which is rolling on many layers of rhythm.
Scam Circle is diggin their own electronic dance music by giving a full respect to all kinds of music and taking it to their sound.
Recently they have been performing as a live act more than ever, and working on the remixes of other artists. And now more solo activities of each mambers too,
which contributes great deal to the expantion of the band's expression.
In 2009, the band had a new member, SHOGO SASAYA, on the board as an engineer in the studio and on the stage.
Now Scam Circle has made a head start for their remarkable future with the band's new order.
