afterpilot

Maruyama and Yamabe started home recording at the beginning.
They formed a band predecessor with former drummer.
At the same time former drummer dropped out of the band,
the band's name changed to "afterpilot".
Kawakami listened to the sound of afterpilot and he felt a kindred spirit.
The current members gathered.
The band's first recording was completed
and they released first mini album "catnap" in March 2004.
It earned high praise for a good melody.
In January 2006 they released split mini album with
"enie meenie" that was a label mate.
The band earned many fans by this work.
In January 2007 they released first full album "foxtail" .
"foxtail" received high assessment more than they expected
and recorded strong sales.
In January 2008 "foxtail" was released in Korea.
And they carried out Korea tour.
In addition, they supported the Japan tour of British power pop band "Farrah"
and Swedish power pop band "dreamboy"
and they got high evaluation from Japan and the foreign country.
In October 2008 they released the long-awaited 2nd full album "silvervine".

マルヤマ、ヤマベで宅録開始。
ドラムを誘い前身バンドを結成し、活動開始 。
ドラムの脱退と同時にバンド名を改め afterpilot となる。
カワカミが音を聴いて意気投合、現在のメン バーとなる。
2004年3月 afterpilot 初の自主ミニアルバムを完成させ、
その音源を1st mini album「catnap」としリリース。
2006年1月 レーベルメイトでもある enie meenie と
split mini album をリリース。
この作品により多くのファンを獲得。
2007年1月 初の full album「foxtail」リリース。
自分たちの予想以上の高評価を受け、好調の セールスを記録。
2008年1月には「foxtail」が韓国にてリリースさ れ、 韓国ツアーをを敢行。
またイギリスのパワーポップバンド"Farrah"や
スウェーデンのパワーポップバンドdreamboy"の
ジャパン・ツアーのサポートを行うなど国外 からも高評価を得てい る。
2008年10月には待望の2nd full album「silvervine」リリース。
更なる飛躍を企む自称脱力系パワーポップバ ンドである。
