国産ディープハウスの重鎮として、近年益々 存在感を増しているDJ UCHIKAWA MASAHIKOと、ジャズピアニスト/プロデューサー として活躍中のクリヤ・マコトによるユニッ ト。
1998年の結成から現在に至るまで、ディープムã‚¦ã‚¹ã‚’åŸºæœ¬ã¨ã—ãªãŒã‚‰ã‚‚ã‚¸ãƒ£ãƒ³ãƒ«ã‚’è¶…ãˆãŸå® Œæˆåº¦ã®é«˜ã„ä½œå“ã‚’å¤šæ•°ç™ºè¡¨ã—ç¶šã‘ã¦ã„ã‚‹ã€‚å½ “初、彼らは日本各地のクラブにて、「ジャ゠ºã€ã‚’キーワードに旬のゲストを迎えたライム–・パフォーマンスを展開。 2000年以降は、東京青山の「クラブ・fai」でム¬ã‚®ãƒ¥ãƒ©ãƒ¼ãƒ‘ーティー“PREMIER”をスタート。㠁ã®å¾Œé’山「クラブ・LOOP」に会場を移し、現 在は毎月最終木曜日に開催。幅広い世代の音 楽ファンを魅了し、毎回賑わいを見せている 。 2000年、Circulater Records(現Rutine Jazz)より「Soul Boys/Last Night〜ROE Drunken Dub Remix」を発表。2002年にはエンジニアの古賀英 夫が参加して、現在のスタイルとなる。2004å¹ ´11月、Black Vinyl Records(London/UK)より10インチシングル「Tribe」゠’発表。英米等各音楽誌で高い評価を受けるだ»ã‹ã€Joe Claussell、Frank Roger等がプレイして話題となった。2006å¹´3月〠é’å±±Club LOOPのレーベルLoop Soundsより12インチ「First Impression」、さらに同年10月にはシカゴの重鎮 Ron Trent主宰レーベルFuture Visionより12インチ「Garden Nights/inc-RonTrent Remix (EU)」をリリース。日本人離れしたディープだ•ã¨ç¾Žã—ã•ã‚’å…¼ã­å‚™ãˆã€ãã®ã‚¯ã‚ªãƒªãƒ†ã‚£ãƒ¼ã®é« ˜ã•ãŒä¸–ç•Œä¸­ã®ãƒ‡ã‚£ãƒ¼ãƒ—ãƒã‚¦ã‚¹ãƒ•ã‚¡ãƒ³ã®å¿ƒã‚’å° „止めた。2007å¹´1月には、KarizmaのリリースでだŠé¦´æŸ“みr2 Recordsより12インチ「Tribe2-North Wind」、続いて5月にも同レーベルより12インムã€ŒGuitar Suite」を発表。そして2008年、結成10周年を迎㠁ˆãŸâ€œRhythm Of Elements”は日本を代表するディープ・ハウス㠁®ãƒ—ロダクションとして認知されている。

DJ Uchikawa and a pianist Makoto Kuriya has met at a party @Yellow in Tokyo in 1998. They’ve got along right away, and started live performances at various clubs in Japan. Although the unit was a simple – a keybord on break beats -, they’ve received well reputation due to their freshness sound and the combination of the unique personalities. The style of them who united jazz with the electro dance music is accepted in the underground in less than no time.
After the year of 2000, they’ve started a party called “Premier” mainly at a club in Aoyama @ Fai. and Also in 2000, they’ve released..Soul Boys / Last Night – Drunken Dub Mix(Circulater Records presence Routine Jazz-JPN)... November of 2004, they’ve released ..Tribe(10 inch vinyl/Black Vinyl Records-UK).. . Joe Claussel (ex Body & Soul, NYC) and Frank Roger (French) has played in the track and got great reputations in music magazines in the U.S. and U.K..In the 2006, they..ve release..First Impression ( inc DJ Hiro’s Dub mix/Loop Sounds-JPN ).. in March and they..ve release ..Garden Nights(inc Ron Trent Remix/Future Vision-EU).. in November.And, the release schedule is done from ..Trive2-North Wind(r2 Records-UK) in January, 2008.
Moreover, party "Premier" that holds it by @fai2001-2004 also restarts @ loop and it receives a fevoreble reception. and,They are beginning the production of a full album now.
