Dj Crisis is a Hip-Hop/Reggae DJ that was born in Houston, Texas. This Asian American DJ grew up with an influence from southern rap as well as artists like Lyrics Born, Jurassic 5, Aesop Rock, J Dilla, Pete Rock, and so on. Dj Crisis began DJing at the age of 13 when he was in 8th grade and never stopped. After high school, Dj Crisis joined the Marine Corps to find himself in the Japan nightlife scene. Dj Crisis is now affiliated with Top Island, a promotion company operating in Okinawa, Japan, DJing for various special Hip Hop and Reggae Top Island events all over the RyuKyu island and mainland Japan.
