Hello, I'm Fueda.
"Fueda" is my family name, my first name is Takaaki.
In the Japanese R&R scene, most of my friends call me "Fueda" or "Fue-chang".
I've been into rock'n'roll & rockabilly since I was 14 and
started playing double bass at 16.
Then I moved to Kanazawa to go to University and joined several rockabilly bands there,
and was the opening act at RED HOT 'N' BLUE Japan Tour.
I also started spinning the wax at "Kanazawa rockabilly nite".
I moved to Niigata for work.
There was no rockabilly scene, so I had done my best to make a good scene.
I promoted many rockabilly gigs, for instance
SPO-DEE-O-DEE(JUNK BOX MINI, NIIGATA),
THE BARNSHAKERS + MARTI BROM(CLUB JUNK BOX, NIIGATA)
RAY CAMPI(RAISON D'ETLE, NAGAOKA),etc...
Now, I live in my hometown, Nagaoka, 60 kilometers south of Niigata.
There is very tiny but hot R&R scene.
I run a rock'n'roll record hop called "BOPPIN' TONIGHT" for 10 years.
I'm a singer and started playing the guitar 4 years ago for a rockabilly/wild R&R band called THE PEPPER HOT BOYS,
and also play double bass for HILLBILLY DELIGHTS(Tokyo-based rockabilly band).
