2000年夏。詩人・東雄一朗のソロプロジェクムˆã¨ã—て誕生。 詩とロックの融合を図るポエトリーロックを 標榜。
2001å¹´6月、韓国教科書問題真っ只中にソウル㠁«ã¦è¨ˆ6ヵ所のストリート・ゲリラLIVEを敢行〠‚ 直後にオリジナルメンバーが揃い活動を活発 化してゆく。
2003年7月、1stアルバム『a Day』を白石かずこ、佐野元春といったビート ニクスのバックアップを得ながらリリース。
2005年１月、2ndアルバム『TALK HARD』を発表。 壮大な30åˆ†ã«ã‚‚åŠã¶ãƒ—ãƒ­ã‚°ãƒ¬ãƒƒã‚·ãƒ´ãªçµ„æ›²ãŒå Žã‚ã‚‰ã‚ŒãŸã‚¢ãƒ«ãƒãƒ ã‚’以って各方面から確か㠁ªè©•ä¾¡ãŒå¯„せられた。
2006年夏、大幅なメンバーチェンジが行われだŸå¾Œã€NO WAVEバンドとしての側面がクローズアップさ゠Œå§‹ã‚ã‚‹ã€‚
2007年４月、台湾の大型ロックフェス『Springsc ream』に最終日トリで出演。会場を大いに沸だ‹ã™ã€‚ 10月にはNYクラブツアーを敢行。オーディエム³ã‚¹ã¨ã—て来場したCMJスタッフからは『THE CLASHとJAMES CHANCEとGANG OF FOURãŒä¸€ç·’ããŸã«ãªã£ãŸæ„Ÿã˜ã ã€ã¨ã„ã†æ—¥æœ¬ä» ¥ä¸Šã®çš„確な声も聞こえたほど。
東京にフィルターを掛けストーリーテリング してゆく毒とユーモアと慈愛に満ちたコトバ と過去最強のリズムセクション、 空間的且つ色気のあるギターサウンドを武器 に更なるまだ誰も見ぬポエトリーロックの荒 野を開拓し続けている。
in summer of 2000, a poet Yuicihiro Azuma mainly formed Flight of Idea advocating "poetry-rock".
in 2001, in the middle of Japan-South Korea textbook-adoption controversy, they had activities including guerrilla live in South Korea and some shows in Tokyo. in autumn of 2003, they released their 1st album "A DAY".
in 2005, they released their 2nd album "TALK HARD" that all of including songs was recorded within 3takes and completely live recordings.they had shows on street through fighting with gangs in Shinjuku and cops in Shibuya.
in December of 2005, they joined "Japan-Europe modern poet festival" as a only one "band" in that festival.
in 2006, they had big member change. The form that is more musical to have exceeded uniting poetry and music activity is criticized as no-wave and postpunk.
In 2007, they went to Taiwan(April) and NYC(October) and had some shows in there.
