"DUBSTRAKT" sounds emerge from the multifarious noise elements produced by this powerful and atmospheric city. The DJ performance mirrors these repetitive rhythms and dubbed-out breaks to form a hypnotic music from the city's underground, which are also evocative of contemporary dusty urban funk music fusing tribal, oriental, and unreal-hiphop beats and warping into a past-present-future hyper-reality.
