Paravida are a gutsy yet melodic Alt/Rock three piece formed in 2005 originally from Drogheda, Ireland. The band started out playing small local shows in their area trying to discover their sound. As the songs improved, so too did the shows as the band spreaded outwards playing shows across the country in Galway and Dublin. The summer of 07 would see the band enter the studio for the first time to record songs for what would become their first E.P. 'Inbetween Names'. The band spent the next few months playing shows promoting and selling the E.P. across the country. The start of 08 proved to be an extremely busy time with Paravida leaving the relative quiet of their hometown in Ireland for larger big city life in London, England, in search of a wider fanbase. Since moving, the band have been gigging constantly throughout the city, with shows in Camden, Soho, Clapham, Oxford St, Piccadilly Circus to name a few. Things are certainly looking good for this band as they continue to press on in their crusade gaining an ever wider fanbase as they go. "The future is bright for this band" -The Independent.
