Dj Prelude

At the age of 13 Joel made his first mix with 2 odd off scale records. Skeletons in my Closet (Alice Cooper) and Pump up the Jambs ( Dance Emporium) Joel spent hours trying to figure out what sound came from where and what knob or switch did what. What seemed like a ridiculous task at the time turned into a passion over night. Low and behold the young buck had something. Not a match with the to adverse records but a creation none the less.The birth of Dj Prelude, 1997 Wheatridge Colorado. Prelude was always studying the latest trends by following his father around various venues in Denver. He found his nitch one snowy night in the big city. Prelude made his debut @ Tracks 2000 in 1999 and was soon discovered by Roofless Productions (Denver) and Sunset Productions (Boulder) At the age of 16 Prelude was covering for many great headliners such as Dj Darcy (Tracks 2000), then local Wyatt Earp (The Root), Dj Keoki (The Root) and many more. At 18 Prelude stopped his small Career for the thirst for knowledge.Now 5 years later in Okinawa Japan he resurfaces to reclaim a name for himself and spread his spin.
