Hisana
Hisana, above all else to me, seems to bring out the best of people in the relationships she is in. The obvious example is Byakuya, who fought for her though she was considered nothing more than a "street rat" to his family, and though it was against every rule and principle he had ever been taught. Hisana, even after her death, continues to influence him and others into completing actions that are the better choices--as in the end, Byakuya saved Rukia through realizing Hisana and the promises he made to her out of love and adoration were more important than Seireitei's rules, and being a perfect noble. Hisana also influences Rukia in a positive manner, even though she was dead when Rukia realized who she was--Hisana's name and presence around the Kuchiki noble house seems to influence Rukia to be more upstanding, and to hold to higher values. All of this, to me, is extremely admirable and a blatant example of how Hisana is charismatic and pure, and how she encourages others to be the same with only small, sparse actions. To have that much influence is something truly to be appreciated.
Hisana's characterization, in general, is simply beautiful to me. She in herself is aesthetically a lovely woman, but the fact that she came from poverty and was able to bewitch a man such as Byakuya says quite a bit--that she is capable, strong, confident, and beautiful, all rolled into one. Though she says she is dependent on the man, I believe that she is actually saying that she is dependent on the way he can make her feel, and make her forget the hardships she was put through. This is a way Hisana sacrifices herself, through undermining her own personality in order to make those around her feel better about themselves. This can be both considered a flaw and a virtue, but I consider it a virtue, as Hisana spent so little time (it seems) in Seireitei and wanted to make everyone around her happy in the time she was there.
