About Me

Hi there everyone! My name is Matty. Who am I? hmmm... I'm just a goofy girl who wants to be mature and balanced, and at the same time tries not to lose a childlike heart. :) I enjoy laughing (even at myself) as much as I enjoy hearing and making others laugh. The best thing in the world is putting a smile on someone's face. :) Not so much these days, but I do have a crazy side and love to do some ridiculous stuff as much of the time as possible , *always* with a bit of decency.(guess I'm grown-up a little...)
I love globe-trotting and getting to know new people - nothing more thrilling than this. I used to live in England for a year and Canada for 6 years where I call both my home. I'm always looking for a great place that I can finally settle in for the rest of my life, so let me know if you know any friendly, comfy little neighbourhood. (doesn't matter which parts of the world.)
I love all kinds of music and listening to it like 24/7.
I also love to sing, that's my passion. I treasure my friends - old and new, every single one of them. I'm a kind of girl who cries with joy when they are happy, and cries with sorrow when they are sad. Now I know I'm sounding too mushy... Anyway, I'm just crazy like that. :)
This might freak out certain people, but I actually have a "new-agey" side - like *huge*. I've always felt there was more to life than just the physical,tangible world and that everything happens for a positive reason. Being from Japan where a strong sense of spirituality still exists, I guess I was born that way..
Oh lastly(but very importantly) I guess I must mention my obsession with Ace Young. Not just his voice or looks, but it's his big golden heart that dazzles me :)

Books:

I'm a bookworm :) Books are sort of an escape for me when facing obstacles and interesingly enough they do have clues... Love anything new-agey and health&wellness stuff, especially the "You are what you eat" type of things - those are totally dominating my shelves.
