What is CANISTAR??
Scientifically known as "CANIS MAJORIS", this constellation is located next to the great hunter Orion. Within it we find Sirius, the brightest star in the known universe, also called THE DOG STAR.
The brand name "CANISTAR" is a combination these two terms. Through our brand we strive to communicate the message that each one of us has a bright, luminous existence, and that within this existence everyone becomes the lead role (star), shining brightly and illuminating all those surrounding us.
Our role here at CANISTAR is to use our creations as a means of sharing countless ideas and concepts with all of you.
学名『CANIS MAJORIS』
オリオン座の隣に位置する大犬座。その中に ある星の一つシリウス。
全宇宙の中でも一番明るく見える星といわれ ています。この星はThe Dog Starとも呼ばれています。
この二つを合わせた造語が『CANISTAR』です。
私達からのメッセージは、一人一人が自分達 の人生において、明るく輝ける存在となって 、周りの人たちを照らしてほしいと言う願い が込められています。物づくりを通してみな さんと沢山の事柄を共有できる様に活動する のがCANISTARの個性となるように。
DJ SEN (from Tokyo) has been DJ-ing and scratching from early 90's.
He's always been exercising his artistry and perfecting his mixing style, spreading funk over a decade from Japan to the States. He's also known as one of the pioneers of underground mix-tape culture in Japan.
