I'm originally from Florida and I live in Boise Idaho. Gawd! talk about a change of climates. I miss the beaches, but I have to admit, the weather up here suites me better. I was born and raised in Merritt Island FL, and graduated from Merritt Island High in 1981. I spent six years in the Air Force as a Security Policeman (Security Specialist 81150). When I got out I knocked around for about a year, working as a bartender and manager, a carnie, and a personal bodyguard before finally ending up working as a Corrections Officer for the Florida DOC. After eight years I took a sabbatical for a year then returned to the workforce doing corporate security contracting for different clients to include Lockheed Martin Astro-space as a shift supervisor at complex 36, Cape Canaveral AFS. I also did a short stint with Homeland Security as a TSA Screener. A crisis with one of my kids forced a relocation here to Boise in Jan, of 05. Currently I work for the same Security Contractor. I am a proud father to three girls (all grown now) and a boy (13, and damn near as tall as me!). My middle girl, Scherri Kay, made me a Grandpa on the 19th of August 2007, when she gave birth to my beautiful Granddaughter, Karaline, named for my Mother Caroline, who we lost in December of 2004. I am all about being a Dad, and my kids have enriched my life in so many ways.
