Musu Bore

About Me

Musu Bore, the Japanese electronica unit with the sound called 'Neo Romantic Noise' based on loop sound of sampling. But their sound has the warm but wet mood and strange groove and rhythm. The one of their listeners said 'The sound in the eternal rain'
'Musu Bore' is old Japanese word and now most of Japanese don't know its meaning. It means 'tighten knot','feeling blue' and 'the bud'.
Ren and Kan-Chan,she is original member of Musu Bore and second cousin of Ren started Musu Bore in Summer Of 2001.Then she gave the name of 'Musu Bore' to this unit. She got a inspiration from the book of 'Knots' written by R.D.Laing and its title transrated in Japanese 'Musubore'.
Kan-chan have never been on the stage since 2003,now she is the adviser of Musu Bore and Ren.
Their first public gig was not at live house but movie theater 'Uplink Theater' in Shibuya.Since then at Piano hall,Casino Bar and on the street of Omote-Sando...They are not stereotype DTM Musician!
After the several member change, now they are 4 main players and 3 support members.
They participated in the project of 'Pink Pig Update' the compilation of cover song of 'The Cure' in 2006.Because 'The Cure' is Ren's favorite band since 1984, so Musu Bore is inspired and under the effect of their sound.
Dec.8 of 2006, Musu Bore released their first album 'Nursery Rhyme'.
