Ami Yamasaki

Voice Artist, Movie Director, Painter, Poet.
Born in Japan. Resides in Tokyo since 2004.
Ami seeks to her mesh voice with various sounds from around the world.
She has collaborated with a wide variety of performing artists, musicians, dancers and dance companies, and visual artists. Most of her performances are fully improvisational. 
She has also joined theatre groups as a guest actress and a guest musician. As a
movie director, she creates short films and has shown them at several film
festivals. She holds a one-man show of her paintings every year, and will soon be releasing a series poetry and painting mixed artworks.
