About Me

I am a diminutively-sized person. People say I am blond but I disagree. My salad obsession is wearing off now it's winter, and being replaced by a porridge and hot chocolate one. Tea is good all year round. So are olives. Errrmm...I'm a student in the lovely sunny place that is Brighton, but have spent the last year largely dossing around in the south of France (it was hard work, believe me!). I miss France a lot, and wish I didn't have dissertations to write and that I still knew loads of people on campus - I feel like an oldie! I very much like nice pubs in Brighton, lovely people and good parties. I have no idea what I'm doing next year so will people stop asking me please?! :-)

My Interests

Spending time with lovely people, tea, music, dancing, beaches, salad, chocolate, films, literature (not doing an English degree for nothing!), parlez-ing en Francais, hot chocolate, snuggling, giggling (though i've recently heard myself giggling and was horrified), beer, FIP radio, mountains, skiing, comfy pubs, chatting, anything and anyone that makes me laugh and smile lots ;-D

I could listen to FIP radio for a very very long time without getting bored...a little bit of everything is the way forward...Coldplay, Zero 7, Manu Chao, Gorillaz, Franz Ferdinand, Badly Drawn Boy, Radiohead, Kaiser Chiefs, The Shins, Tripod, Mr Scruff, Nouvelle Vague, The Strokes, Blur, Cali, Jeff Buckley, The Beach Boys, Kings of Leon, Rodrigo y Gabriela,The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Roots Manuva, Groove Armada, Pulp, Jack Johnson, De Phazz, 4Hero, Mickey 3D, Moloko, Semisonic, Variety Lab, Django Reinhardt...also like jazz, classical, my violin sees the light of day every now and then...

Television:

I'm not watching tv really at the mo, it's mostly crap. Though i have just got into Peep Show. I like things that make me laugh. Lots. And anything really interesting. Used to like Spooks but then they killed off all the main characters. And I'd choose Channel 4 news over the bbc, less annoying and better ties.

Books:

I like books. Probably ought to as an English student. I love Kate Atkinson's books, especially Behind the Scenes at the Museum and Emotionally Weird, also Everything is Illuminated, The Kite Runner, Atonement, Saturday, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Cloud Atlas, all the Harry Potters (I'm not ashamed!)
