well, actually i am a younger brother, so i was always influeced by someone. everything i was listening to when i was a kid was brought to me. first thing i found myself were beatles ann mark oh... .our parents thought we were some strange freaks living in their house. in the age of 12(me) and 16(older brother) there were a lots of strange noises and sounds coming out of the childrens room (we were growing up 2gether for sixteen yrs! in a room of 11mx11,5m), when we were listenig to biosphere and other ambient projects, which sound like: five minutes of one very quiet tone which is disturbed by sweet scary children voices repeating WHE HAD A DREAM LAST NIGHT, WE HAD THE SAME DREAM over and over again.when we grew up (actually we are only about 1.7meters tall/short) my brother became a professional musical journalist and i became a professional actor.in the age of 19 and 23 we (with our friend jakub yellen) created creative artistic/media society called magaben. as magaben we run first czech streetpaper called novy prostor for almost three yrs (actually till now).we called ourselves a virus, because we were working for so many strange and different people. One day we were producing teambuilding workshops, second day we were shooting a document about how to survive a winter in prague (if you are homeless). it´s a long story what we did. And so i became jan jarvis and my brother mecame petr skaribiku...One of our dreams always was to make a music! our mother is paino and organ teacher, i used to study on prestige artistic highschool where a half of all i learned was musical theory and i also studied classical guitar and my brother has great musical ideas. but we never put it together, we never bought the stuff to do it. we didn´t have enough time. i hope it will change sometimes.these tracks on our blog is just some kind of afternoon session and it actually doesn´t represent out musical ideas. it´s just the easiest thing we can do. if you will like it, let us know...we need motivation!
