Ko-jax aka koji shimizu hails from kyoto, has been active as a dj since mid 90s. organizing several parties including now legendary "MicroMarch" night at club rockets (osaka), played alongside with international guests such as fumiya tanaka, JPLS, portable, mike shannon, james dean brown (narcotic syntax) and ricardo villalobos. his versatility on the decks is simply amazing. he also organizes a party titled "grassHopper" at club clapper in osaka since feb 2007.

kohei exposed to electronic music in early 90s and has been djing since 1996. after experienced co-operation works with aoki takamasa ( op.disc / fatcat / cirque) and some residency at clubs around kyoto / osaka, he launches a new monthly club night titled "Picasso" with Ko-jax. kohei is also responsible for press-release works for fumiya tanaka 's op.disc / torema imprint.

Picasso seeks out a new, fresh perspective in somewhere between house / techno / rhythm & sound.
