ABOUT:
ALS is a metal band from Budapest that released its debut EP titled "To Whom It May Concern" in early 2007. Fronted by two vocalists the Hungarian six-piece draws influence from many sub-genres of heavy metal keeping their music diverse and energetic.
BIOGRAPHY:
Nedo, Zsolt and Dani decided to form a band in their high school years, and started out with playing Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and AC/DC songs. While constantly looking for fellow musicians to fill in the post of drummer and vocalist, the three guitarists began writing their own music. In 2004, after they went to a neverLAND gig, they got in touch with the vocalist/guitarist, Maci and asked him to join ALS. By this time the influence of progressive, death metal and a bit of hardcore grew stronger, thus finding a drummer who is able to tackle the often unconventional rhythmic structures and keep up the fast tempo was far from easy. After recruiting Stavi in 2006, ALS began working on their debut EP and started giving their first shows. In 2007, with Bálint (who appeared on the EP as a guest vocalist) coming aboard to share vocal duties with Maci, the line-up of ALS became complete.
BIOGRÁFIA:
A zenekar magját Juhász Zsolt (gitár), Kabai Dániel (gitár) és Nedoluha György (basszusgitár) alapította 2000 körül. A formáció negyedik tagja egy darabig Nagy Dávid (Depresszió) dobos volt , de mivel nem akarta felaprózni magát két zenekara között, hamarosan kilépett. A hármas felállás sokáig megmaradt, dob és ének nélkül születtek és érlelodtek a saját dalok. 2004-ben csatlakozott a zenekarhoz Medve Balázs, a neverLAND énekes-gitárosa. A zenekar ezután vette fel az "a Losing Season" nevet. A zene egyre komplexebb lett, a kezdeti heavy metal vonalat ekkor már sok death, hardcore és prog hatás színesítette. Jópár kudarcba fulladt "találkozás" után 2006 nyarán került a dobos posztra Kovács "Stawy" Dániel a Gloaming zenekarból. 2006 novemberében a Denevér Stúdióban elkészült a zenekar elso hivatalos hanganyaga, a "To Whom It May Concern" EP. Az EP munkálataiban is részt vevö Bokodi Bálint (Gloaming) 2007 tavaszán csatlakozott, így a zenekar hatfösre bövült. Az ALS a 2007 májusában lezajlott Metalchamp tehetségkutatón eljutott a bécsi fordulóig, fellépett a Sziget Fesztiválon és a Pécsi Rockmaratonon, 2007 öszén pedig a Depresszió-turné vendégeként koncertezett országszerte.
