I'm originally from Bloomington, Minnesota. I left after graduating from Lincoln High to attend Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. I graduated early and began teaching in Traverse City for one summer and then Grand Rapids, MI. I taught for 4 years and then was an elementary principal for 1 year. I finished my Masters in Educational Leadership and then supervised elementary schools, the gifted and talented program and early childhood education programs for 9 years as Assistant Director of Elementary Schools. I was very active in community theater as an actor, choreographer and served on the board of directors for Circle Theater. I moved back to Minnesota in 1988 and entered the corporate world doing sales and marketing to the education market. I also met my best friend and wonderful husband. We got married in 1991 and disbanded our careers to live our dream. We started our own television show that was broadcast to 70 communities in the Twin City area via cablevision: The Kaye and Stuart Show. We moved to Arizona in 1997 and were snowbirds for a few years until we finally decided to stay here full time. When we moved, I went back to the corporate world and Alexx began writing again. In 2004 his first play was produced. We decided after that to start our own theater company at the same time that I was teaching at Pinnacle High School as the Theater Director. We now own and operate Darknight Productions. I love directing his creative work. I continue to hone my skills by taking classes at ASU every semester. Doing theater on a full time basis was always my dream. I'm finally living it with the most wonderful man I've ever known. I'm very blessed and most grateful.
