foundfootage aka dj korosuke

dj korosuke is a dj/producer in Tokyo. He mixes various sounds from Hip Hop/House/Techno/Breakbeats to Jazz/Funk/Soul/Rare Groove. He has been released some Mix CDs from his own label "sonimage-Lab,inc"( http://sonimage-Lab.net). The latest one is "Japoniseme&Mode vol.1(SLI-005)the mix of Japanese Jazz/Rare GrooveHis musical activity is devided into 3 projects except DJing. First, His solo project "found footage" is the personal output that represent his Hip Hop/Jazz aspect. The first song as found footage is "le canard a l'orange" which is featured in the compilation "Freak's Mansion" directed by Midicronica from KSR/sonimage-Lab,inc.Second, the live band "ngoma"( http://ngoma.jp). This band consists of 5 members(dj korosuke:MPC/Turntables,Takayuki Hashiguchi:Japanese Traditional Drums Wadaiko, Masami Shimizu:Bass,Shingo Minagawa:Percusison,Lenn Yoshino:MPC/Dub Effect). Their first song "Red Stripe" appears in the compilation "SAG voyage:Summer Collection2006" compiled by Kaoru Inoue(Chari Chari) from Seeds And Ground/Crue-L Records. This song is released as 12inch in December from sonimage-Lab,inc inclulded the remixes of Kentaro Iwaki(Dub Archanoid Trim)&DJ Daikei(O-Parts).Third, the media mix project Midicronica( http://midicronica.com).
